His grandpa was a professional football player back in the day. Ridge really loved it when his grandpa watched him play any sport.
This year at the league tournament we had an elderly umpire that was having a hard time sweeping g rhe plate. While Ridge was catching he would sweep the plate for her. Ot was the sweetest. Also another game he insisted the younger pitcher pitch instead of Ridge subbing for him, because the younger pitch was doing great. He told his coach leave him in.
