I love every part about it from meeting new people, making memories, travelling, being able to learn new things and improve on. The things it teaches you along the way. Also seeing how much female hockey has come along and having a professional league, now excites me and hoping to continue in hockey and hopefully one day continue to play hockey professionally. Hockey has always been something I’ve looked forward to and still is now.
The person that inspires me the most is Marie-Phillip-Poulin. Her confidence, passion, and love for the game is unexplainable and amazing. Watching her play and never give up excites me and seeing her try new things gives me confidence in needing to believe in myself as well. I watch every hockey game she’s in and just watch the way she plays and it’s impeccable. I hope to be close to as great as she is today and play the level of hockey she does.
Riley’s passion for not only her sport but her teammates, friends and coaches, she amazes me with her heart not only for her own game but those around her! She wants everyone to be great! Everyone’s biggest cheerleader and seeing that everytime she steps on the ice makes me the proudest moment!
