What she loves most about cheer is the feeling of being part of something bigger. The teamwork, the adrenaline of hitting a routine, the challenge of learning new skills, and the way cheer pushes her to be her best—physically and mentally. She loves that every practice is a chance to grow, not just as an athlete, but as a leader and teammate.
Who inspires her? Her teammates and coaches. She’s inspired by the ones who show up early, stay late, and never give up—even when it’s hard. The ones who lift others up, cheer the loudest from the sidelines, and lead with heart. Her coaches who challenge her, believe in her, and help her see her potential even on tough days. They remind her that greatness isn’t just about skills—it’s about effort, attitude, and how you treat others along the way.
One moment that makes me incredibly proud was when she came back stronger after an injury. Instead of giving up, she showed grit and determination—cheering on her team from the sidelines, staying involved. The day she finally hit that skill again, with tears in her eyes and a smile on her face, was unforgettable. It wasn’t just about the skill—it was about her strength, resilience, and love for the sport. That moment reminded me just how powerful her spirit really is
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
