Rio’s inspiration is his mom because never gives up in life. No matter what is thrown her way.. the worry, the stress, she still carries on in a positive light so that even through darkness her kids still continue to shine.
In a championship game, Rio was on fire. Defense, offense, rebounding, scoring, everything was TOP NOTCH. During the third quarter, up 6 points, Rio had an asthma attack & had to sit down. With 4 minutes left on the clock, down by 8, he begged his coach to put him back in. The coach finally gave in. Rio went into the game and STILL DOMINATED! We won the championship by 7 points.
