What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

RJ’s love for baseball & hockey is not only learning from his coaches but teaching to kids less skilled then he is my plastic fence and my walls in the house show his drive for competitive self learning and improving every day. RJ selfishness with his achievements and awards from being at the top of his game always pays it forward to a lesser skilled kid he believes the smile encourages the kids to get better. RJ signed with a different club team he said will get him ready for the big diamond

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Red Sox slugger Big Papi and Wayne Gretzky. RJ believes if you’re good at what you do then you should be teaching kids to also be good which both professional do. RJ goes to a lot of different clinics outside of his contract teams as he believes different voices and skills make a difference in building an athlete sportsmanship and skill levels RJ’s motto is to make yourself 1% better everyday

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Baseball when he is training all winter in club practice and comes home and continues to practice certain skills with more energy then spring games come and RJ is always well prepared mentally and physically to be a leader in hitting, fielding and pitching. RJ also does this with hockey which is a longer season and definitely requires toughness juggling two sports in lacrosse is second nature for him never complains this is his drive not his parents
