What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What Robbie loves most about boxing is how it makes him feel strong, confident, and proud. Once a shy kid who was bullied, he now steps into the ring with focus and heart. He loves pushing himself, learning new skills, techniques and proving to himself that he belongs. At just 12, he’s found a passion that fuels him from within and that love for the sport drives him every single day.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Robbie is most inspired by his coach, who has helped him believe in himself and grow not just as a boxer but as a person. His coach teaches him how to stay focused, stay humble, and never give up. He also looks up to his father, who has always been his biggest supporter in anything he has wanted to accomplish. Both his coach and father push him in different ways, and he’s becoming stronger inside and out because of their belief in him not just as a boxer, but as a young boy chasing his dreams .

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of my proudest moments was watching my son step into the ring against a hometown favorite. Robbie was once a shy kid who got bullied, and though he still battles nerves, his love for boxing is stronger than fear. Other young boxers tried to shake his confidence, but he stayed focused and fought with such heart that even his opponent’s coach praised him. That day, I saw the fighter and person he’s becoming.
