He stays positive & perseveres despite the struggles & pain from flat feet & duck feet. He encourages and inspires his teammates as well.

His coach, parents, and he is very impressed by his teammate who recently graduated and has an intellectual disability. His teammate would become discouraged, but powered through. They inspired one another.
Despite him breaking his leg due to complications at an Invitational in eighth grade, he made a strong comeback in the 9th grade by beating his running time and helped his t team medal at an invitational. Also, last year at a Cross Country Invitational he and three of his teammates PR'd and received awards for the first time that year. I just have to add that I love how my son encourages other teams by telling them to, "keep going," and praising them work during and after the competitions.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
