What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

My son loves playing lacrosse because it pushes him to grow physically, mentally, and emotionally. He’s built strong friendships with his teammates and thrives in the supportive, competitive environment. Lacrosse challenges him to stay disciplined, focused, and resilient. He enjoys sharpening his skills, learning new techniques, and playing a fast-paced game that he’s truly passionate about. It’s a sport that brings him joy and purpose.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

His biggest inspiration is his dad, who motivates him both on and off the field. Whether it's practicing late, giving advice after games, or simply leading by example, his dad pushes him to work hard, stay focused, and always give his best effort. He encourages him to be a strong teammate, a respectful competitor, and someone others can look up to. His dad’s support and dedication continue to shape the player and person he’s becoming.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of his proudest moments was playing up a level during his last lacrosse season. As a sixth grader competing alongside older seventh and eighth graders, he not only held his own but led the team as the top scorer. It gave him a huge confidence boost and showed him that hard work, dedication, and passion can help you rise to any challenge, no matter your age. That season was a defining moment in his growth as both a player and teammate.
