Thank you for generously supporting Ryder in this year’s competition. Your support helps empower the V Foundation for Cancer Research and the Why Not You Foundation in their respective missions to save lives and empower today's youth to become tomorrow's leaders.
Ryder loves the competition, the teamwork, and the chance to grow through sports. He thrives under pressure, supports his teammates, and works year-round to improve—especially in baseball, his true passion. Whether on the field or court, he gives his all and stays humble, driven by a deep love for the game, not just the wins.
Ryder draws deep inspiration from watching his older brother and father win the state championship during his brother’s senior year. Seeing their hard work, determination, and unwavering unity amazed him. Their teamwork on the field and quiet confidence off it showed him what dedication looks like. Watching them reach that pinnacle family achievement taught Ryder resilience, leadership, and the belief that with discipline and heart, anything is possible.
At his most recent tournament, Ryder hit 5 home runs, 3 doubles, and drove in 13 runs. He was intentionally walked 5 times, showing the respect he commands at the plate. On the mound, he was just as dominant, striking out 12 batters in 5 innings.
