He loves his teammates the most. He loves the camaraderie, being a part of something that takes everyone doing their job to succeed. With that comes hard times where he’s a positive force not only on the field, but in the dugout too!
His brother Ryan inspires him everyday. He’s a college football player that was in a coma fighting to live last summer from asthma attack. He fought his way back and he’s stronger than ever living his best life. He never gave up working hard to get back on the field. It taught Ryder that anything is possible through hard work and sheer willpower on and off the field!
When his brother was in the hospital, his team had a tournament. There was no one to take his place and he didn’t want to let his team down with a forfeit so he decided to play. He walked into the dugout and when everyone hugged him asking how he was doing, he broke down and cried. He then proceeded to play his hardest with his brother’s name on his arm leaving all he had on that field. That team will always be special to him.
