What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Ryder loves being a quarterback because he thrives under pressure, enjoys leading his team, and loves making big plays. He’s passionate about reading defenses, making smart decisions, and constantly improving his skills. For him, being a QB means more than just throwing the ball, it’s about leadership, strategy, and heart.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Alongside his faith, Ryder finds daily inspiration in his grandfather. His grandpa worked at the same company for over 50 years,a rare and powerful example of dedication and loyalty. He didn’t chase recognition or take shortcuts, he showed up, worked hard, and treated everyone with respect. To Ryder, that’s the kind of man he wants to become, dependable, honest, and strong. His grandfather’s work ethic wasn’t flashy, but it was steady, unwavering, and built on values that stand the test of time.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

It’s not just one moment of being proud. It’s about his character. He has grown not only as an athlete but as a leader grounded in faith & hard work. When he steps onto the field, all the training, all the early mornings, all the effort he’s poured in comes together. He competes fully locked in, giving everything he has. That is a moment of pure pride. It’s where preparation meets purpose. Seeing Ryder live out what he believes, stay humble, compete hard, and keep God at the center of it all.
