What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Ryliee says she loves the game of softball, learning and being part of a team and the time spent with the girls. It’s fun for her and she is developing life long friendships and qualities in life.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

She is inspired by her dad who motivates her to keep trying and never give up. She also sees other girls on her team who do well and she strives to be as amazing as they are. She sees an instructor weekly to help her skills and she continues to show her the love for the game.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

She has developed a strong will to want to learn every position. She struggled with hitting and now is making contact and the smiles and pure joy she has when she gets on base. She recently received an MVP in a game for her hitting. She was shocked and wanted to make sure the entire team knew they did awesome.
