Behind the wheel, she’s not trying to catch up because of her gross motor delay, others are trying to catch her. Racing gives her a level playing field where she’s seen as an equal, not defined by her past challenges. She thrives on the competition and cherishes the friendships she builds throughout the season. For her, racing is more than a sport it’s where she truly belongs
She’s inspired by her racing friends who push her to be better, her dad who used to race and passed down the love of the sport, and her mom, who reminds her every day that she can do anything she sets her mind to. Our belief in her fuels her drive, both on and off the track.
Her proudest moment was winning Most Improved Racer at last year’s club awards night. She worked tirelessly all season to become a stronger, smarter racer and that award meant the world because it came with recognition not just from her peers, but from racers in higher classes who saw her growth, grit, and determination. It was a moment that proved hard work truly pays off
