Disliking failure more than loving to win and that carries over into the classroom always wanting to do her best
During a track meet when she was 9 years old she was winning a race by a pretty good amount but she began to slow down and let the girl that was in second place win the race, after the race I asked her why she did that and she stated “it was her turn to win” so I then asked did she know the girl who she had let win? she said “no, she cried after the first race so I wanted her to feel better” it warmed my heart but I do tease her to this day and remind her “hey don’t let the other team win”
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
