The proudest moment for me was the year Salmaan didn’t make the team but showed up to practice every single day anyway. Even without a jersey, he put in the work, stayed focused, and refused to let that setback define him. Watching him return the next season stronger, faster, and more determined — even taking on track to improve his performance — showed me the kind of young man he is becoming: humble, resilient, and unwilling to give up on what he loves.
