She played midfield and defense as well as goalkeeper and decided to become full-time goalkeeper about 3 years ago. She decided on this position for many reasons. One reason is because it uses most of her strengths and skills. Another reason is she can effectively communicate to her team to win the game. The third reason is because she loves saving a game! She has saved at least a hundred of goals and many penalty kicks for someone her age!
Her goalkeeping coach, Gabe Aguilar aka Coach Gabe, inspires and supports her most, on and off of the field. He even comes to her games that he isn't coaching to support her as well as provide her with constructive criticism after the game. He is the main reason she is such a great goalkeeper!
On top of winning the CT Cup this past spring with her team, the one moment that makes her the proudest is when she saved three penalty kicks in a row at a winter championship game at Chelsea Piers - Connecticut, against Chelsea. Unfortunately her team didn't win that game but have won at least thirteen tournaments in their short career, including the CT Cup.
