Truly just loves the game and he loves to pitch. He enjoys being part of the team and lifting up his teammates. Everyone has off days, but he picks them up because he has off days too and understands that.
His coaches have been instrumental in helping him mechanically and mentally. Some of the seniors that graduated this year have been true mentors to the younger boys, which helps with team bonding. His dad has been his throwing partner for years and that is always something he is grateful for.
As a pitcher, no one wants to give up a Homerun and so far Samuel has given up one. He walked to the 3rd base line and high fived, congratulating the boy that just got the homerun. That was pure class in my book.
