What Samuel loves most about playing soccer is the feeling of being part of a team. He enjoys working together, supporting each other, and celebrating wins as a group. He also loves the energy of the game—the fast pace, the competition, and all the excitement that comes with it. It makes him feel confident, focused, and alive on the field. He plays as central defence but also plays on the right flank and scores with powerful shots
On the field, he is inspired by Lamine Yamal, Lionel Messi and Rúben Dias. Off field, Samuel is inspired by his dad, Samuel is also a follower of Jesus and his principles.
The one moment I will never forget was a time was the U-11 World Cup final in February 2025, his team was in the final against U-11 Argentina and about 9 minutes to the end of the game, the scores was still 1-1. One of his team mates was fouled which resulted in a direct free kick, his coach beckoned on him to take the shot, it was one of the best shots I’ve seen in a long time. It was a very powerful shot that the goalie couldn’t stop and the game ended shortly afterwards.
