You decide who will be named Youth Athlete of the Year, featured in a 3BRAND ad in Sports Illustrated, and take home $25,000
What I love most about my sport is being able to do what I love, I do it for those who can’t, I love being able to cheer with my friends and even family, I do it for the thrill for the memories and most of all for myself, I know I am capable of doing so much and getting so far in my sport so that’s why I continue to do it and continue to work hard, I don’t do it just to win but I do it because it’s fun, being able to go to the gym, my happy place even when I’m feeling down I know cheer is there.
Someone who inspires me on and off the mat are my parents more so my mom, she is probably the kindest human I know, she’s taught me everything I know and how to be, a good person, I said I do it for those who can’t cheer and I’ve learned that from my mom, she does everything in her power to let me cheer and give me the ability to be able to cheer, I cheer for her so she can be proud I’m doing it for not just myself but also the ones that can’t.
One of my proudest moments of my athletes journey is seeing her tears not just the happy ones whenever she wins but the sad ones also, her being able to show her emotions whenever it gets tough but also seeing her happy tears knowing that she knows herself that she worked hard to get where she is at.
