Savion loves the intensity and teamwork of basketball. The game challenges him to push past limits, stay focused, and grow stronger mentally and physically. He thrives on the energy of competition, the bond with his teammates, and the feeling of accomplishment after hard work pays off. Basketball isn’t just a sport for him, it’s a passion that has shaped his discipline, leadership, and drive to succeed on and off the court.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Savion is inspired by his mom, who has always been his biggest supporter and strongest example of resilience. Despite facing challenges, she never gave up on providing for their family and always encouraged him to chase his dreams. Her strength, sacrifice, and unconditional love motivate him to work hard, stay focused, and make her proud. She’s the reason he believes anything is possible with determination and heart.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of the proudest moments in Savion’s athletic journey was when he made the 2nd team all county after recovering from a tough injury. He dedicated himself to rehab, stayed disciplined, and never lost his drive to come back stronger. That moment proved his resilience and showed that hard work and faith pay off. Stepping back on the court wasn’t just about playing again, it was about overcoming adversity and growing into a true leader.
