What my son loves most about playing baseball and football is all the running. After practice and his game he would be one of the only players still on the field running bases or field goal to field goal. Sometimes he will toss balls in the air just to catch them.
On the field, my child is most inspired by Coach Ryan and Coach Mike. Watching how they carry themself during practice has shown my child what real leadership looks like and they are always taking time out of their day to teach my son everything he knows. Off the field, my child’s biggest inspiration is his family. Whether it’s cheering from the sidelines or volunteering together at community events, our family reminds my son that character matters just as much as talent.
One of my proudest moments was when he made All-Star. He worked so hard to whole season to earn a spot on the All-Star team and at one of the games my son made a double play. He caught the ball and tagged the person running to second base. But really just sitting there watching him play hard makes me proud every time.
