I get to learn new things every time I’m at practice or even in a game. It brings me joy into my life I feel like l’m over the moon every time I play, even when it’s a bad at the fields I still find a way to have a great time playing softball.
Skylar Wallace, she played for the Florida gators and played shortstop. She inspired me to keep playing the game and have for love for the game, she makes me think that I have a chance to go play college one day. She inspired me so much that I’m now playing up so coach’s can look at me sooner at tournaments.
Scarlets athletic journey has been about perseverance. Her journey started in Quincy, CA, then Marshall, MO during COVID, after that Bolivar, MO, and then finally Spring, TX. The biggest adjustment for her has been coming from small rural towns to the Houston Metro. While here she has fought and grown in the game to earn a spot on a National travel team taking 7th in the USSSA nationals in Nashville and winning the USFA Western Nationals here in Houston.
