At 7 years old, Scout has moves that turn heads and energy that lights up a room. If she’s not at her studio, she’s at home practicing.

In Scout’s words: “Dance is so much fun. I love learning good technique. I love the friends I’ve been dancing with for years, and making new friends. Dance makes me feel great about myself. Dance inspires me. The stage has helped me not be shy. There are so many styles of dance to love like lyrical, tap, hip hop, jazz, ballet, acro, and pom.”
Her dance teachers - all of them - because they believe in her and never give up on her. They encourage her to try new things and cheer for her in all parts of life.
Seeing the moment it clicked in her head that she just has to “try”. She doesn’t have to be the best, but trying her best every day helps her become a better dancer and human!
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
