Sean loves challenging himself to beat his personal best every game and challenging his brothers (teammates) to do the same! He strives to improve daily and loves seeing the results of all of the work he puts in conveyed in his sports performances. In the inaugural year of Powerlifting at his high school, he was the only freshman to place securing 3rd place in the state of NM and putting up numbers to push his team to place 2nd overall in the state! Inspiring others drives him!
Sean is inspired by his fellow teammates, he does not come from an athletic family so he is doing something that has not been previously done and has the best support. He looks up to several college and professional athletes who come from humble beginnings and after losing his dad in 2020 to suicide- that inspired him to live for his dad and make sure their name is remembered for so much more!
Sean makes me proud daily! One standout moment is when he was noticeably hurt and brought out of the game, but when the opponents starting pulling ahead, he put himself back in the game limping on the field to play through the pain to pull off a victory- he plays with his whole heart! His heart extends to others- when a teammate was injured and couldn't walk, Sean scooped him up into his arms and carried him off the field as his teammate's mother walked alongside him. Always a proud mama!
