Sebastian has played hockey since he was 5 years old. Besides his love for skating, he truly enjoys the friendships with teammates and coaches he has made over the years. Hockey has introduced him to so many inspiring people that have helped shaped the hard working team player that he is today!
From the beginning Sebastian has always been inspired by his favorite player Patrick Kane. He grew up watching him win 3 Stanley cups with his favorite team the Chicago Blackhawks. He is also inspired by his mother who taught him how to skate and his father who helps him train both physically and mentally.
One of Sebastian’s proudest moments was playing in the Czech Republic for team USA. It was his first time in Europe and he played on a team with kids all over the United States he never met before. We were very proud when he kicked off one of the games against team Finland by shaking hands with an opposing player to start the game. As the tournament went on Sebastian ended up getting the game winning goal against the top team Sweden and voted by his coach & teammates as player of the game!
