She loves being part of a team, shouting out plays, encouraging her teammates, and celebrating every point together. Volleyball makes her feel powerful, confident, and like she’s exactly where she’s meant to be.
She feels most inspired by people who work really hard, stay positive, and never give up — both on and off the volleyball court. She looks up to players who give their all in every game, cheer for their teammates, and keep trying even when they miss a point or lose a match. What really motivates her is seeing how some players practice every day, stay focused, and always show good sportsmanship.
One of my proudest moments was during her last volleyball tournament. She was in three intense, back to back games, the pressure brought her to tears but she didn’t walk away. She wiped her face, took a deep breath, and kept going with everything she had. Her team won the championship, but what meant the most was seeing her courage, heart, and determination shine through. In that moment, she showed what it truly means to be a champion.
