Thank you for generously supporting Shanell in this year’s competition. Your support helps empower the V Foundation for Cancer Research and the Why Not You Foundation in their respective missions to save lives and empower today's youth to become tomorrow's leaders.
What Shanell loves most about playing soccer is the feeling of being part of a team, working hard together, and always improving. She enjoys the excitement of each game, the challenge of pushing herself, and the fun of competing. Most of all, she loves being a role model for younger players, showing them that with dedication and a good attitude, anything is possible—on and off the field.
Shanell is most inspired by her family, who always support her on and off the field. They attend her games, cheer her on, and encourage her to work hard and stay focused. Their belief in her gives her the confidence to keep pushing, even when things get tough. They remind her that being a good teammate, staying humble, and balancing school and sports is what truly makes a champion. Their love and support motivate her to be her best every day.
Shanell’s proudest moment was when she chose to step out of her comfort zone and try out for a new team. It wasn’t easy starting over, but she knew it was the right move to challenge herself and grow as a player. Taking that risk showed her strength, courage, and dedication to improving. It proved she was ready to push past limits and become the best version of herself—on and off the field.
