Shawn loves being able to be a team player on the court. He's a court general and loves to see his team win as a whole. Shawn loves the positive impact he has on other players. He loves to encourage and motivate everyone he comes in contact with. He's selfless. Follow @Shawnmcknight2034
Shawn's father who served in the military inspires him to be the best he can be, through training everyday. Both parents maintain his vegetarian diet and try to keep his mental and physical health in tact. Shawn admires Kobe Bryant for his mamba mentality, his focus and dedication to the game resembles Shawn's. He's inspired by Stephen Curry and the remarkable way he shoots from any where on the court. Shawn is also a big football fan also and he admires Russell Wilson as a player/humanitarian.
One moment of Shawn's athletic journey that makes us proudest is when he was playing up a grade level(4th) and they were down 2 pts with only a few seconds left in the game. Shawn got on the court focused and fearless. He was willing to take the game winning shot and he did. Shawn shot a 3 pointer and won the Championship game by 1 point.
