Shawn loves the competition not only against his opponent but against himself. He loves the life lessons that wrestling teaches him! It’s a physical sport but also mental and pushing through difficult losses and injuries and learning how to battle to come back on top is a challenge. He’s always up for a challenge!!
The fact that Shawn had a terrible injury at the height of his highschool career was devastating but the way Shawn battled through and continues to push himself to get back to his previous physical abilities has been nothing but incredible. His ability to see the bigger picture and the way he never gives up makes us so incredibly proud. He’s a humble, caring, respectful and an amazing teammate, captain and future leader on and off the mat! His journey has been a challenge but a proud one.
