What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Teamwork and friendships. He loves playing sports with his friends and being able to work towards a goal together. He loves running 5k races for St. Jude to support his brother and all the kids of St. Jude. And of course the feeling you get when you work hard to win a game!

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

His dad and how he works hard every day and still gets him to all his practices and games. His mom and how she cares for him and his 3 brothers. CJ Stroud and how he talks about giving God the glory so much that he got cut off of live TV. He’s just a good person on and off the field. His teammates in all the sports he’s involved in.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

I’m always proud of how he handles winning and losing and behaves so maturely. We were also proud when he scored the winning touchdown against our biggest rival. It was our first time beating them and it was definitely a team effort! I loved watching him make his first interception in 3rd grade. He is so fun to watch in football! The thing I love most watching him in sports though is the tight knit friendships and support that him and his teammates share.
