I love the energy and teamwork Sky posses in basketball and how it challenges her to always be better. She love the feeling of competing, learning new skills, and proving to herself that with hard work anything is possible. Most of all, she love inspiring other girls whether they’re younger, older, friends, or family to believe they can play at any level. On and off the court, she hope to inspire anyone who loves the game
Skyy inspired by her parents. dad is her coach and her biggest cheerleader he pushes her to be her best, perfect duo even when it’s tough. My mom inspires me because she a natural born leader, bread to win and always shows me the power of kindness, unity and to never give up. Together, they’re my balance and keep me strong on and off the court. Skyy is inspired by Michael Jordan and Paige Beckers
I’m so proud of so many of Skyy moments, like earning MVP on different teams, even on an all-boys team, and playing at almost every major basketball camp in Grand Rapids. One of Skyy biggest highlights was scoring over 30 points in a single game and 20+ points in several others all in one day. I also love when strangers come up to us ask where Skyy is playing next or tell us how good she is it reminds us that her hard work is being noticed and inspiring others. Young and old. We’re Proud!
