Individual training opportunities and team practices allow Skylan to build confidence in not just sports but life itself and his hard work ethics and competitive nature sets him apart from his peers but doesn’t take away from his compassion and dedication to his teammates.
Skylan’s inspiration in football comes from his grandfather & dad because they push him to go farther and provide constant mentorship and support as they take him to camps, personal training segments, and one-on-one analysis with him. In soccer Skylan is inspired from watching one of the greats, Cristiano Ronaldo, because he believes their playing styles are similar and aggressive in nature.
The proudest moments of Skylan’s athletic journey that makes his family the proudest are when we witness the reactions from his eyes and body movements after a successful pass, drive saving tackle, scoring a goal, and watching his teammates succeed or do something extraordinary on the field. Skylan is about team first and individual second and shows it in his play and leadership!
