Baseball- spending time on the field with my teammates and finding new things to love about the game. Rodeo- Getting to show what I have taught my horse to the crowd and always striving to be better than the last time. Football- Getting to take the field and know that I can be put anywhere and I will get my job done. In any sport I can always be counted on when needed and ready to hype up my teammates as well, I can't win without them.
My mom inspires me, she is always been my biggest fan, has never missed a game or rodeo, and shes tough. My baseball coach Cody who has always pushed me to be a better me every game and continues to believe in me, my step dad who taught me my love of horses and has taught me everything about being a cowboy, my cousin Madden, we play the same positions in baseball and he gets to play for KU! Jesse Pope who was just a small town boy like me doing big things in the rodeo world.
Skyler is truly a different breed when it comes to sports. He amazes me every time he steps onto the field or into the arena. What makes me most proud is that, at just 9 years old, he already understands the seriousness of game day. He knows what it takes to be a true team player—always lifting others up, encouraging his teammates, and making sure they know how proud he is of them. His leadership, heart, and love for the game shine in everything he does.
