She loves the ongoing support from other athletes , coaches, trainers, families. She loves how she can combine her love for horses and her love for being an athlete. This is an amazing partnership. She gets to demonstrate her strength and flexibility by adding the art of achieving it on top of her partner, the horse.
She pulls her inspiration from all the vaulters she comes across. Averill Saunders , first Canadian medalist, has been a great inspiration to her. She is kind, down to earth, supportive and accepting. She is inspired by all the vaulters that she had the pleasure to work with. Her coach continues to remain her biggest inspiration with her creativity and ongoing support for her.
