My mom. She has shown me no matter how hard or frustrating life or sports are to never give up. The greatest things in life come from hard work and determination. She always says champions are made in the off season. She has shown me how to be a good person and work hard. She has shown me to always stay strong and look forward.
She said she wanted to quit out of frustration with her performance. Instead, she took the ball and went outside and played for hours. She took that moment of wanting to give up and turned it into a reason to keep working harder. She goes to practice and comes home and practices more. There are tears and there are frustrations but Sophia always uses it as motivation instead of feeling defeated.
