Sophia is a black belt in Taekwondo and just won AAU Nationals as well as USA TAEKWONDO Nationals!

Sophia loves the ability to express herself as an athlete through martial arts, the ability to train in a healthy environment and be around friends and family. She also loves the challenge of competing against the best in the country.
Her grandpa who at 63 years old continues to coach and train with her, as well as her mom who takers her to each and every training session while working a full time job. Her favorite athlete in Taekwondo is Kristina Teachout who brought home a bronze at these most recent Olympic Games. As well as CJ Nicholas who is the top Tkd male in the US
Seeing her persevere through two tough years of not medaling at the national level to finally cement herself as one of the best athletes in the country.
