Sophia is inspired by her incredible coaches at Spirit Gymnastics Sports Academy who have taught her that gymnastics is a marathon, not a sprint. They instill the values of hard-work, kindness, and sportsmanship. They have taught her that having a heart of gold is more important than winning gold. And, they have taught her that she has the ability, strength, and right to forge her own path on her gymnastics journey.
Watching Sophia become a 4x 2025 NGA XCEL GOLD National Champion (All-Around, Floor, Bars, Beam), 2025 NGA National Team Member, and USAG Florida State Bar Champion was amazing. But, our proudest moment was witnessing her attitude after a fall on beam last season. She ended the meet with a smile, told us what she learned from her fall, and went on to win another event. She never lets the highs and lows of the sport impact her positivity or love for gymnastics.
