Join the CompetitionStone loves the challenge that basketball brings. He loves to learn new skills and loves to be challenged. He’s a team player who loves to make plays for his teammates. He loves that he can do what he loves and have fun at the same time. He is such a leader who helps to build momentum and confidence on and off the court!
His inspirations come from his parents and his coach. As parents we teach him that character is EVERYTHING! You can’t do further than what your character and integrity allows. Always be honorable in everything that you do. Winning is great, integrity is a MUST! He is also inspired by his coach, the legendary Ed Cota of the UNC Tarheel. He has taught him to play at a level that Stone has only dreamed of playing at
I accidentally signed Stone up for the wrong team. I was so heart broken. I knew he wanted to play with his friends at a higher level. It was too late to change. He was such a good sport. He had to play an entire season with first time players. Instead of him dominating the game, he made plays to make sure every kid made a shot and learned the game of basketball. I was so proud of him for caring about his teammates and not just himself! He never once complained. He’s such an amazing kid.
