Sydnei loves the energy from her fellow teammates, opponents, and the crowd. Although she is a very confident athlete, the energy of the environment plays a role with building her confidence within the sporting event. She is a young lady looking for a challenge everyday to test her abilities. She is tested multiple ways within sports growing her into a strong resilient person.
Sydnei is inspired by her family both on and off the field. Her family may not be perfect but, they always show their support and encouragement no matter the circumstances. When she doubts herself she is able to look towards her family for reinsurance in her abilities and character. Her family is her motivation.
Sydnei has experienced a major change since the beginning of the year. She lost her dad to a heart attack February 26, 2025. That very same day she was separated from her mother and has not been able to physically see her. February 27, 2025, she decided to be the strongest person I know and went to compete in her very first high school track meet. She ended up winning 4/4 events that day. That is my proudest moment of her athletic career. She ended up finishing her season at state as a freshman.
