Join the CompetitionIn Rugby she loves the challenge and being out on the field. She loves proving critics wrong. In Wrestling she loves the feeling of being on the mat. Just her and her opponent and everything is on the line. She loves the feeling of winning and the lessons from losing. She loves having people she knows cheering her on in all her sports. In Volleyball she loves having a sport where she plays with girls. At her age she said theirs not many girls in wrestling and rugby.
In Rugby she is inspired by Ilona Maher. She watched her in the Olympics and loved that tough athletic girls can be girlie and pretty too. For Wrestling her dad has motivated and inspired her since she was little. He is always in her corner cheering her on. In Volleyball she looked up to her older sister Kaydence. She also plays volleyball. Her hard work and never giving up encourages her. She also cheers her on when she is on the volleyball court.
It’s hard to narrow it down to one single moment in all of her sports. I would have to go to 2023. She broke her arm late November and had to have 2 surgeries and miss her season. She had the rods took out early February and immediately wanted to get back on the wrestling mat! She went from missing the whole season to her hand raised in late February as the State Champion!Never giving up and achieving her goal with little time to practice and get ready for it. I was so proud of her determination
