He loves being able to play basketball because when he was born with Spina Bifida he thought that he would never get to play sports but then he realized he can play and he can play just as hard as other kids even if he is in a wheelchair. I love the freedom it gives him when he plays ball and he doesn’t let it slow him down.
He has loved watching Steph Curry play ball and dream of playing like Steph Curry one day. I also love Patrick Anderson and Jorge Sanchez. They are para Olympic.gold medalists. They are all great examples to me.
I love watching Sylur play. He is a leader to his teammates. He is so fast and such a good shooter but he makes sure others are able to play as well. When he plays for the older Team he makes me so proud because he is so good and is able to play as good as the older Teammates. I never thought he would find a way to achieve his dream and I am so proud to watch him play. He is so inspiration to watch.
