What T.K. loves most about playing sports is the experience it brings both on and off the field. He enjoys the thrill of competing and pushing himself to improve with each game. Meeting new people from other teams is exciting, and winning is always a great feeling. But what makes it even more special is playing alongside his friends. Sports have taught him teamwork, discipline, and how to handle both success and failure.
T.K. is inspired by God both on and off the field. He believes God gave him the gift and ability to play, and he strives to use that gift to honor Him. His faith motivates him to stay humble, work hard, and be a positive influence. No matter the outcome, T.K. remembers that he’s playing for a greater purpose.
One of T.K.’s proudest moments came during his first season back after recovering from an arm injury and months of physical therapy. Playing with a new team, he hit a walk-off to score the winning run and secure the tournament win. The fans were cheering, and the support he felt meant everything to him. It was an unforgettable moment that reminded him of how far he had come and how much he loves the game. This was one of our proudest moments, too, as his family.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
