TéLyn loves the bond she has with her teammates and coaches. Her coach helps them grow by pointing out when they are right or wrong, and her and her teammates support each other cheering on the positives and lifting one another up when needed.

One proud moment was when TéLyn’s all-girls team had to compete against boys. Despite being inexperienced and losing a key player, she stepped up, played hard, and never gave up even when she cried after games. Her growth in confidence and strength was inspiring. I was even more proud when she was asked to try out for volleyball, a sport she’d never played. She’s worked hard and is becoming a key player.
