I love doing allstar competitive cheer. I am a passionate, fierce flyer and tumbler which have allowed me to excel and compete for 6 years. Track is my other great love, I love the hurdles and triple jump. I like being able to do more individual races. I like being part of a cross country team although I’m not the fastest long distance runner, I still give my all and try to push myself in every race. I also play the Baritone which is so funny because it’s almost as big as me.
I adore Sha’carri Richardson, she is the greatest sprinter. I loved seeing her come back after having such a tough time and compete against the greats, and win. I had the opportunity to meet Simone Biles last year. I push myself to tumble as good as her. She is so inspiring and such a kind person. I would like to be a neonatal doctor. The person that inspires me daily is my mom. She is nurse and she is such a caring and great nurse. I hope I’m as good of a doctor, as she is a nurse.
I have so many proud moments but the one that stands out the most is last track and field season. T’Qora started the 100m hurdles race and after a couple steps, her spikes got stuck in the ground and she fell. My heart dropped, she immediately got up, crying and bloody and continued the race. She did not win that race but she did not come in last. In my book she won, she showed what an athlete is, no matter how many times you fall, you still get back up and finish the race.
