Coach Marcus has been his coach since he started playing. He always leads with positivity. Taegan has never not wanted to go to practice when it is with Coach Marcus. He will wake up early, get dressed and ready to go. Marcus gets through to these kids. He is tough, but with love. For example, another coach insulted the team due to their loss. Taegan says, "Mom it is ok, he's not my Coach, Marcus is." That showed me how much Marcus means to him. Taegan plays for his Team, but plays hard for Coac
Taegan is a leader. Even if the team is not doing well, Taegan will always give "daps" or high fives. He will his teammates up when they fall. He is a good sport, teammate and likes to see others succeed. His coach told me he can always count on Taegan to be honest without judgement. They rely on Taegans opinion because of his honesty. I am proud of the person he is, the leadership he gives and he is his own person. Taegan is very driven, humble, and works so incredibly hard.
