He's especially inspired by both his grandfathers, who taught him the power of hard work, humility, and representing your family with pride. On the field, he looks up to the Polynesian athletes who stay true to who they are-who embrace their roots, lead with respect and shine without needing to boast. They remind him that greatness is about more than talent-it's about staying grounded and giving back.
One moment that stands out most was watching him gather for a team prayer after a tough game-regardless of the outcome. It wasn't about winning or losing - it was about gratitude, unity and remembering where the strength comes from. In that moment, we saw more than an athlete - we saw a young man growing into his purpose, carrying his culture, his faith, and his family with pride. And that's what makes us so proud.
