Tanner loves playing alongside his brothers and for coaches that actually care! He also feels a great sense of pride playing in a small town community that’s got your back and his behind you 100%!!
Tanner’s dad, who is his team’s head football coach, is his biggest inspiration on the field. Coach Bowens leads by example, not just telling them to do something, but showing and leading the way. Off the field, Tanner’s mom is his biggest inspiration because she teaches him to strive for his goals and never give up.
During his freshman season last year, Tanner started at receiver. He had some big catches & blocks & was an accurate, speedy route runner. He came close to scoring many times; it finally happened when he scored 2 TDs in the last regular season game!! We were so proud! His scoring trend continued with multiple TDs as the team competed in the postseason playoffs.
