You decide who will be named Youth Athlete of the Year, featured in a 3BRAND ad in Sports Illustrated, and take home $25,000
What I love most about playing basketball is leading my team and helping make everyone better. I love the challenge of tough competition, especially going up against ranked players in big games with big crowds. That energy pushes me to step up, play my best, and get my teammates involved so we can all succeed together.
Kyrie Irving inspires me because of how creative he is with the ball and how he can score in so many ways. I also look up to Jason Williams for his incredible court vision and passing—he made his whole team better. I try to take a little from both of their games.
One of my proudest moments was at AAU Nationals this summer. We were down 11-0 to start the game, but we never gave up. We fought hard, stayed together as a team, and with under two minutes left, we took the lead and ended up winning. That game taught me the importance of giving everything I have, trusting my team, and never quitting no matter what the score is.
