What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

My daughter loves her horses and keeping her mind and body sharp. She loves being fit and working to improve her skills.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Tatum is inspired by her physical therapist who has helped her to strengthen her core and resolve some injuries. She is inspired by individuals working hard every day. She is inspired by her faith to be the best person and athlete.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The one moment that makes me the proudest is competing against the four top goat tyers in a goat tying match. She was injured and she refused to not compete saying it is a honor to compete against the best in the state. She completed all 4 runs solid and with strength despite the pain.
