Thank you for generously supporting Taylee in this year’s competition. Your support helps empower the V Foundation for Cancer Research and the Why Not You Foundation in their respective missions to save lives and empower today's youth to become tomorrow's leaders.
Taylee loves competing in any capacity. She loves getting to be around her closest friends and push each other to be the best version of themselves. Taylee is always telling me that her and her teammates are "Vibin." The vibe is what she thrives on. She has learned so much about discipline as well as being their for others. Teammates really have to have each other's back in order to be successful.
Taylee always wanted her Papa Mark to coach her in softball and basketball. He was a very good coach and unfortunately passed away when she was 2 years old. At the age of 4, we began playing tee ball. She asked me one game if Papa Mark could continue to sit in the dugout every game. She also told me that he cheers for her and is always ready to give her a high five when she returns to the dugout. There truly is an Angel in the Outfield for Taylee.
I'm the most proud when Taylee is able to take a loss and still go shake hands and congratulate the other team. It's easy to win but not everyone knows how to lose. She has learned the valuable lesson of sportsmanship that will carry her throughout her life. These life lessons are invaluable and worth every penny of her playing the sport.
